What we Wake up to ...Sometimes

Aiden just so happened to be very happy on this morning. He usually is happy every morning and it is so nice to wake up to a smile rather than screaming. =] This first picture is him being a drama king. He knows how to fake cry now!

Our Fishie Tank

I had gotten a kids fish tank from one of my old co-workers who was going to throw it out. I took it home and Cody was excited to get fish! So the same day we bought 2 tiger barb fish and 1 rainbow shark. Over time the 2 tiger bars died and algae began to grow in the tank. Apparently the rainbow shark eats algae so it was a win win situation! Well the other day Cody wanted to buy more fish for the tank. Long story short, we ended up buying a new/bigger tank. We also bought 2 fiddler crabs and got a free bala shark. Now there is a funny story that goes along with the crabs. We bought them at walmart and we were leaving petco and i was looking at the crabs watching them walk around and one of them froze up and turned over! I told Cody that i thought the crab was dying or dead. So i sat there poking at the dead crab(i know that sounds horrible lol)and he wasn't budging! Then it looked like something pink looking was coming out of the top of him so i had thought i accidentally stepped on him. By the time we got home which was a total of about 7 minutes there were 3 crabs in the bag! Turns out the crab that froze up shed his shell. I was all grossed out. But anyways i can now have pics for you!!

Sorry i havent been putting pictures up. I can't seem to find the cord that plugs the camera into the computer to download them! Anyways here are a couple of things that have been happening in the Sorenson home!

• had my first doctors appointment and everything is looking good-still have bloodwork i need to do im now 12 weeks along =]
• we got a new fish tank and got rid of Aiden's little plastic one we now have 2 fiddler crabs 1 bala shark and 1 rainbow shark
• we had a fun Thanksgiving with my family then we made our own =]
• we got most of our Christmas decorations up
• had my first real black friday experience...walmart is no longer on our future lists
• Aiden's vocabulary is growing!!
• I have decided to register and hopefully become a bone marrow donor(after the baby that is!)

Hopefully i find that cord soon because there are alot of pictures i have been meaning to post!

New Moon =]

Was definetly an amazing movie! I loved everything that they did and it followed the book quite well! I got to go see it yesterday with my mom and sister who have also read the books. Last year when Twilight came out i went with my sister the monday morning after it opened and there was about 5 people in line lol 4 of which were going to see Twilight. Our theatre was empty and it was really nice! This year however was nothing compared to last year. There were 2 lines one waiting to get into the theatre and one for the tickets. Our theatre was packed but we did find a nice spot to sit! And yes like many of you who have seen the movie experienced; All the girls/moms in the audience squealed when Taylor Lautner took his shirt off. The moms mostly were "oh my" or "ooo"s. We couldnt help but laugh. Maybe it is just me but when i read the fist book and then saw the movie my vision of Edward was way different! Jacob i can see being Taylor Lautner but for some reason i dont really like R.Patts as Edward. Maybe it is because im married and not single lol I have no idea but that is just how i feel. But they all do a very good job with their characters! My favorite being Alice =]

Quick Little Post

First off i switched out my widget for a farther along one because i am actually 9 weeks along! Before i had Aiden my mom gave me a number to a perinatal services place that helps you get your health insurance and they educate you on everything! So i had an appointment yesterday at the same place because i thought why not do it again! Their main thing is to show you videos and educate you on childbirth and taking care of a baby(which i don't really need since i have experience in that department) but i like all the interesting things they told me. They also give you alot of stuff like magazines, samples of different baby products, and prenatal vitamins(alot! i am using the ones i had left over from last time). I also found out my due date there and it is June 12th. I am so very excited that our family is growing and i cant wait to feel those little movements!

Halloween

This year was Aiden's first "real" Halloween. Last year he was only 3 months old and we didnt take him anywhere. This year we took him to our church's trunk or treat. It was really cute the way some people decorated their truck beds. This was my and Aiden's first time comming but Cody had been before and this year was apparently a big turnout! Afterwards we had some really yummy chili!! Aiden was a panda this year and he wouldnt let me paint his nose for the trunk or treat but he let me on actual Halloween night but unfortunately our camera broke the night of the trunk or treat so i didnt get pictures of him and his painted nose. But i have these!!

Anniversary

On October 26th me and cody celebrated our 3 year anniversary(3 years together and 2 married). He booked us a hotel room across from Disneyland and we spent the day there with his brother and some friends that were visiting from New York. We had planned on eating in the Blue Bayou like we did on our 1st anniversary but it turns out it was all booked up the first night and the second night the park closed at 5 for an event. So instead Cody found a coupon for buy one get one free at the Pirates Dinner Adventure. The whole gang went with us and it was fun! We had a big meal and the show was a little cheesy but it was cute.
