An Update on My Wonderful Fam.

I've got ALOT to blog about and so little time to do it in. So i will just fill you all in on the basics and post pictures later.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Me and "Cody had a nice mini vacation from our kiddos and went to Las Vegas. Now you may ask me "What will an LDS member do in Vegas?" TONS!! There are so many things you could do in Las Vegas minus the drinking and gambling. My husband had gotten a good deal in his email for a 2 nights stay at THEhotel(that is how it is spelled) and 2 tickets to the Lion King show. The first night we got there we saw the Lion King and i must say it was pretty amazing. They did a good job of casting people that sounded exactly like the movie characters. It was truly a pretty great thing to see and if you are ever there go see it! The second day we were there we went to Mandalay Bay's Shark Reef Aquarium and walked down the strip. The aquarium was pretty cool even though it was little. We got to pet sting rays and horseshoe crabs. When we walked down the strip we took pictures every where and watched 2 of Bellagio's water shows, one there and one on the way back. We also hit up the NY NY roller coaster which was pretty big and expensive! 14 bucks per person for one ride. We wont ride it again given the price and it was pretty rickety. We wanted to watch Criss Angel while we were out there but didn't get a chance so we vowed for next time!! We ate at the Mandalay buffet which was really good! On our way home we stopped at Calico ghost town and took some pictures. It was really fun to get away from the kiddos for a few days. I suggest all couples should do it. It really means alot to your husband for him to be the center of your attention and to know you still love him.=]

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aiden is such a big boy he is sleeping in his own bed now! Who knew that all i would have to do is turn the hall light on and keep it on all night? He does still come into our room but it is at 7 or 8 in the morning =]. On with potty training we go. We ran out of his diapers today so it is the time to start! Our little Dillan is crawling like a maniac. Picking up anything on the floor and putting it in his mouth. He has also managed to almost perfect his Pincer Grasp. Which is picking up something with his pointer finger and his thumb. I learned this term in my child development class=]. Our family is doing well and i will post pictures soon i promise! Until next time.
