Fun Fun Fun

Some fun things have happened in the past month or 2 that i have forgotten to blog about! Having 2 kids to take care of all day REALLY takes up your time! Anyways here are the things that we have been doing lately with the corresponding photos =]
We went to a Black Ops party. It wasn't really called that but at the end of the night that is what it turned out to be=] Quite a few people came and there ended up being 4 TVs hooked up!
This was at the end of the night.
During the shindig.
And the kiddos. This was the most unblurry picture i had gotten of them. Aiden didn't join us that evening since the whole day he was being Mr. Destructive Brat and we didn't want to bring him to a friends house where he would get into absolutely everything!
The beginning of the day =]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We were able to go to Disney at least 2 times this month already. We went once with my in laws and watch the shows.
My mommy in law and Dillan Passed out. She was such a great help with him that day =]
Dillan finally popped out a tooth!! Its only 1 on the bottom and i tried to find a picture to where it was somewhat visible and this was the best i had.
We got to watch Fantasmic! This is my favorite part!
We also got to watch the Aladdin show again. It was the in laws first time seeing it and they liked it!
Dillan finally is also able to be pushed in a swing. He loved it =]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We were also able to go to the San Diego Zoo and we went with our good friends the Fishers! They seem to be seen alot in this blog eh? Anyways it was so much fun even though the majority of the animals were sleeping the whole time! Here are some fun photos.
Aiden and Hailey took a few cute pictures that day.
Of course leave it to my husband to make some sort of funny picture/joke about anything.
The 2 kiddos finally passed out right as the lion was making some sort of loud coughing noise.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our 2ND trip to Disney was our Aiden Date day. Just me Cody and Aiden. He had alot of fun and rode alot of rides!!
Teacups.
He also got to meet his favorite person!!

And he got to run around on the island. This month so far has been very eventful! As for the sleeping /potty training thing. Aiden isn't doing the sleeping thing too well,(he's a very light sleeper!), so I'm going to try out the potty thing now and see if that is going to happen! Until next time

No Bueno

I am really going to despise this post, but i know i have to do this if i want things to be easier. So i was looking online for helpful tips on how to potty train boys and i found some really awesome stuff! Then i looked up how to get your child back into their own bed. Yes i know I'm a horrible person to let my 2 1/2 year old sleep in our bed, but let me just say that things definitely didn't start out that way! Aiden did stay in his crib until he was about 1 year old. All it took was for me to be deathly tired one night and think "screw it!" So ever since that night he has been nestled in between me and my husband, and frankly we are both tired of it. Seeing as our 7 month old sleeps all night in his crib and is getting older and i don't want him to think he can join us too! So with that said i am going to be doing a major mommy boot camp with my son. The potty training will have to wait for next week since the bed training needed to be done when things weren't going on like potty training or having a new baby. Once that is done i am going to do the potty training method that was showed on Dr. Phil. Which i must say that method looks awesome! So wish me luck as i embark on these to weeks of HAIL with my son. I will keep you guys updated.
Here are pictures of my cute kids =]

Until next time =]

Christmas and the NEW Year!

So here i am posting about our Christmas and New Year festivities as many of you in the blog world have already done. I uploaded these wonderful pictures for your viewing pleasure while i was getting ready and everyone else ready for church this morning, seeing as every time i try to upload 5 pictures it doesn't work so i have to only upload 3 pictures at a time that takes about a minute each time! I am writing this after dinner was made and eaten, and everyone is full and happy...for the moment, and while the Brownies are in the oven =] oh yes you better believe i capitalized Brownies! Another note on this post...pretty much all of the pictures are NOT in order. With all of that said here it goes!
On Christmas eve morning we had our new windows put in bright and earyl! We then went to my parents house for a nice dinner and present opening. After that we walked over to my grannies house and open more gifts there and have more food! She had gotten recipes from Graceland and they are elvis's favorites! She had made a ham and a macaroni salad that were quite yummy!
Christmas day morning we opened presents and had cookies for breakfast...yes we did =]. We then hopped on over to my other grannies house for lunch and more presents! I hope my kids dont become spoiled brats from everything they have gotten!
Then on january first we celebrated yet another Christmas at my inlaws. Oh yes we had 4 Christmases but it was no where near like the movie. Although it would have been fun to go to the bahamas or where ever they were planning to go =]
In between New Years and Christmas me and Cody got to go to universal one last time before our pases expired. I must say it was the WORST time to go as there were a million people there and it was freezing! But we got to go see Tron in imax 3d which was AMAZING!! Go see it!
On New years we went over to my Brother's place. It was really fun hanging out with people our age and no kids! We played a game of cran-apple juice pong =]
So now here are the photos to follow =]

There was another group of gifts separated from this one. Im organized when it comes to this =]

Me and Cody on Christmas Eve.

Dillan and his first present. He really likes it!

My 2 little guys. Snowman and Elf.

Xmas morning.

Aiden loves his own set of tools. He is constantly "fixing" things.

He got this from my parents! He wanted to open it right away!

The loaded potato salad i made for new years at my brother's.

It was Grinchmas at Universal =]

Xmas day at grannies house.

LOOK AT THIS!! My little guy should be mobile in a few weeks. He has learned to get that belly up off the floor =] im excited! I never had a baby that crawled!

The cool Mickey Mouse Airplane that the inlaws got for Aidie. He LOVES this thing!

Cody playing our new Playstation Move =] Thank you inlaws!

Me and my almost 7 month old =]

Me and the terrible 2 year old...2 1/2 year old now.
We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year!
Until next time =]

Updated Pics

Hare are some updated pics of what have been going on in the Sorenson home. Its Christmas time! I just love decorating for holidays! They are a bit unorganized so bear with me.

Stockings!! We don't have a fireplace or a mantle so i just hung them up on the empty part of our wall.

A Christmas display that i did on our porch.

The Christmas lights!

And our very first Christmas tree! Its a real one and i love how it makes our house smell!
-----------------------------------------------------
We went to Disneyland this past week and it sure was fun! It was Dillys very first time! He loved small world and that was his very first ride.

First ride on small world.

Some of the parade. We sat out for and hour and a half to wait for this darn thing and it was great!

Me and Aidie watching the parade.

Daddy and Dilly waiting for the parade

The boys also saw Santa! I love the decorations at Disney for this time of the year! And for any of you that have been to see Santa at Cali adventure, isn't the gazebo that he is in so pretty!?! Anyways Aiden wasn't as interested in this guy as he was last year. Last year he practically jumped into the guy's lap! Not so much this year, you can tell by the look on his face. Dillan didn't seem to mind.
------------------------------------------
Here are some pics of the boys. They are getting so big! =]
Aiden trying to hold his not so light brother.

Pickle sitting up on his own. I got this cute onsie at target on black friday =] He is 6 months old now. How a half of a year flew by i have no idea!

Man has it been cold in calimesa! Not so much anymore but during Thanksgiving week it was windy and freezing! To top it off our windows are from the 80's...probably the same ones from when they first built this place. They are also MASSIVELY drafty and do not hold any heat in. We plan on taking care of that with our tax return next year. SO this is how Dillan has been sleeping for a while. Bundled up in 10 blankets.

This was another COLD day. They were keeping each other warm =]

2 weeks ago my dad had come over to put in our new sink. Here is a picture of Aiden and him working on it.

Last but not least here is a picture i took from the computer from one of those not so free JIB JAb send able cards. I love making them...they are so fun!
I WILL be updating this weekly(hopefully) I have a house of sick boys right now. So i am hoping i don't get it! Until next time =]

The boys room. Still a bit unorganized but I'm good with it. Their bathroom is to the left behind the crib.

Our laundry room...i accidentally deleted the picture that was before this one of the curtains my mom got me for this. Its a tropical beach scene. They are cute!

Our living room

Our dining area.

The entry way. Our room is to the right of this picture.

Our room! Our bathroom is in the back right corner.
There is still so much more to be done but we are so happy we can call this place our home =]

Haloween 2010

Here is what we did on Halloween! We went to our stake's trunk or treat of course! That was about all we did since the whole day we were painting then we took the kids there and ate dinner...i must say Max Fisher's chili is to die for!! After that we took the kids back to the sitter and spent the night painting.
Me and my little Devil =]
I just love this picture of both of them! This is definitely going in a frame!

Our family on Halloween I must say we look pretty darn good for just being covered in paint an hour before!

This was the best picture i got from me and my boys.

My little surgeon =] This was the only time Aiden had everything on from his costume.
