Always a time for Firsts!

We went to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time as a family! ME and Cody have been before of course but this was Aiden's first time and he loved it! The only thing that sucked was we went on a Saturday night...need i explain more? Even though it was crowded we still managed to have fun. We didn't let Aiden crawl in the tubes because we didn't want to lose him! We had a really great coupon that we got in our Up blu-ray movie and we just decided to go randomly. This was also Aiden's first time riding on a 25 cent machine!

FINALLY!!!!

I have waited a very long 18 weeks to finally say i can feel the baby kicking!! This confirms for me that there is actually something growing in there! I woke up 2 days ago and was just laying in bed on my back and i felt 5 kicks in a row! The started from the middle of my tummy and traveled to my right side. I am so very excited and in 2 more weeks we can have an official answer to what we are having!!

2010!!

Where has the time gone?! 3 years ago i was dating Cody,2 years ago i was pregnant with Aiden, and 1 year ago he was only 6 months old. Now he is almost a toddler!! There are a few things this year i would like to improve on. I don't really like making new years resolutions because i never keep them! So these are things that i would like to do more/better: Read more to Aiden. I read to him probably once a week and it seems to calm him down alot more. He has so many books and he really does like it when i do read to him.

Cook more. I already do cook more than half of the week. The other part is just frozen foods or takeout. I would really like to get a schedule down and get more easy/healthy recipes! The best part is that i enjoy cooking!
More family time. It seems like my time is always taken up by TV shows i want to watch or those addicting facebook games(you all know em!). I would like to do more with Aiden like taking him to the park every day instead of 3 times a week or finding cheap fun things i can do with him and Cody. We do have a dvr so maybe i can limit myself and record my shows and have a day to myself to watch them.

Teaching Aiden more. I had always wanted to become a teacher all throughout school. Now that i have an 18 month old and one on the way i feel like being a stay at home mom is what i was meant to do! I love being at home with Aiden and watching him grow but i would like to do more education stuff with him. I already have flashcards for him and that worked for maybe a day. Then he got a hold of them and ate/chewed on a couple. Maybe i can start numbers now =]

Grow more Spiritually. It seems like i have been slacking just a little in this department. I would like to be able to read the scriptures daily and do more family prayers. I would also love to visit the temple more often. After all it is practically in our backyard! I do need to get a new dress though since my abdomen is growing =]

I am so thankful for my family and my wonderful husband that help me out when i need it. And i hope i at least touch all of these categories by the end of this new and exciting year!!

Christmas/Aiden's First pee in the Potty!!/Baby Update

For some reason all my pictures are backwards so ill just go in the order they are in. Aiden got a Toys r Us gift card from my uncle and i decided to get him a potty chair with it since he didn't have one yet. All the next day he didn't do anything in it even though he liked sitting on it. Then the next morning Cody was getting ready for work and Aiden woke up so he took him straight to the potty and yes he peed! It sure was a lot of pee but he did it! That night before his shower i sat him on it while i was getting everything ready then he stood up and looked in the potty and yet again he had peed! I of course was so excited calling him a big boy and singing Aiden peed in the potty lol. Twice in one day is pretty good if i say so myself! For Christmas Eve we went to my moms house for dinner. It's like our family's little tradition of eating polish food and doing polish traditions. After that we head over to my grandmas to open presents. I didn't have my camera so i didn't take any pictures. Christmas morning we opened our gifts and Aiden is still not into unwrapping things. He does like the gifts he gets though! His favorite out of everything was a talking lightning mcqueen car that daddy got for him. Then we went to my other grandmas house for lunch and opening gifts there. I got a new camera from my bro in law so i only got a few pictures of that. It was a very nice Holiday spent with family and eating yummy food! I am so sad that it is over but very excited that next year there will be a new little one to spend it with!

BABY UPDATE

When i was pregnant with Aiden i went to my Mom's work and we "took a peek" inside. She is a labor and delivery nurse so she had a little ultrasound machine to play with. I was 19 weeks along with Aiden when i went in. Unfortunately we couldn't see anything but him crossing his legs and covering himself with his hands lol. So the day after Christmas (i was exactly 16 weeks)my mom invited me to come in again and we got to see our little munchkin! The little guy waved to us and was dancing all over the place! I cant feel anything yet though but he sure was moving! I have been saying "he" because we were able to see between the legs and it looked a lot like Aiden's ultrasound when we found out he was a boy! So what Cody is saying is that we are 95% sure it is another boy. We wont find out officially for another month so there is still that 5% chance its a girl. But from what i saw i believe we are having another boy =]

Cookies Cookies Everywhere!!

Well not really. I only made one batch of 3 cookies. Compared to my mom who makes 24 different types of cookies and doubles the recipe for each one. About a month ago i made a raspberry cream cheese breakfast pastry which was yummy! So i decided to trade the crust for a regular graham cracker crust and make raspberry cheesecake bars. It is still cooling while i type this so i ha vent cut it up and made it look pretty, but the picture makes it look like a bloody cake lol. Then i made one batch of chocolate chip cookies which made 43 cookies and a batch of sugar cookies which made 26 cookies. The house now smells really good! It is definitely better than any air freshener that i have smelt! I love this time of the year and everything that comes with it! Decorations, baked sweets, the smell of Christmas trees, shopping, and being around family. =]

Cody is 21!!

Today is Cody's 21st birthday! Man the time flies!! I remember the day i met him senior year! Well yesterday we went to Disney yet again!(we are probably the biggest Disneyland junkies ever!) We had went on a couple of rides yesterday and today Cody got his 72$ gift card and his happy birthday button. We had only gone on 2 rides since the park was really crowded and we had planned on going home before there was traffic. It was Aiden's very first time riding Autopia. I was surprised when he stopped moving the steering wheel as soon as we had started to move. He enjoyed the ride very much and I'm pretty sure this will be his next favorite ride. On the way home Cody reported a drunk driver who nearly got into an accident with us. We found out how good of a team we were because i was already memorizing this guys licence plate number before Cody called. Of course as soon as the guy saw we got out the phone he sped away(little did he know i already knew his licence plat number by heart!...still do!).

When we got home i had to go get blood work done which i hate but its good for me i suppose. I also had to go to the doc's office because i apparently have an infection. So to add to my massive prenatal vitamin i have to take amoxicillan 3 times a day for 10 days =/. I stopped to pick up Cody's favorite candy(snickers) since i gave him his birthday present early(a Lakers watch already sized perfectly!) i also got him a card and a 3$ scratcher since he got me a scratcher on my birthday last year. My scratcher was worth nothing knowing my bad luck but i just so happened to pick Cody out a winner! He won 15$ and was so happy since it was his first winning scratcher. I will post again tomorrow since its my cookie baking day =]. A post dedicated to cookies!!

Christmas Time at Disneyland

I absolutely LOVE Disneyland this time of the year! Just being there makes you happy and seeing all of the beautiful decorations; it is amazing how they do all of it! We stayed overnight again but this time we had gotten a free room from previously staying and it was grandpas birthday. We were there Monday through Tuesday and yes it poured on Monday! Thankfully we had driven through the worst of it(It still rained a little and drizzled). Even though my shoes were soaked and my feet were freezing you can still see from the pictures it was fun! And you can also tell which ones were from Monday and which ones were from Tuesday! Tuesday it was absolutely beautiful outside but it was still a little cold!

Aiden sat for Santa! He also danced for him too! Last year he fell asleep before he got to Santa at church. I think we will make it a tradition to get a family christmas picture and a picture with Santa at Disney. =]

We had so much fun minus the rainy Monday. We are also going again next week for Cody's birthday. He is turning the big 21!! Hopefully it wont rain =]
