Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler

This i must say was an amazing book! Since i have read the Twilight series 3 times already it was time for me to get a new book. So i go this one because it was huge and it looked interesting. This book is about a high school couple that fall head over heels for each other and they get into a car accident and the boyfriend dies. Now his girlfriend,Ivy, believes in angels and when she was younger she thinks that her guardian angel saved her from drowning and she keeps angel statues in her room. After her boyfriend, Tristan, dies she stops believing in them and little does she know but he becomes her new guardian angel. With the help of another angel Tristan finds that someone deliberately killed him and that his killer is now coming after Ivy. So now he has to protect her from his killer. Its a very good book there was no bad language in it at all. I would definitely recommend this book! My mom is going to trade me a book she is working on right now for this one so if you would like to borrow it i probably wont have it for a little while.

Another book that i read was Two way Street by Lauren Barnholdt. This book was about yet another high school couple that again fall head over heels for each other and since they are planning on going to the same college they plan out a road trip. Well the guy breaks up with the girl before this road trip and her parents urge her to still go with him. So its this awkward-trying-to-make-the-other-person-jealous road trip. It is cute and funny and he knows this big secret but doesn't tell her because he doesn't want to hurt her. There is quite alot of bad language in it which i wish they wouldn't have put in there because it could have been good without it. But then again it is about high school kids going into college. This was another good book!

Fun fact for ya!

This past week when we went to Disneyland we found out that you only have to be 35 inches tall to ride the matterhorn! And for those of you that haven't been to Disneyland and dont know what the heck that is heres a picture for you!

You ride bobsled looking cars through tunnels and encounter the abominable snowman which is a little scary if i say so myself. Lets just say that when Disneyland opened this was one of the only rides! Therefore the track is bumpy and rough not to mention you get jerked around on the turns. Anywho now that i get back on track i dont know if i posted Aiden's height in the last post but he is 31 inches tall! Which means he is only 4 inches away from riding this thing!!! I dont know if he will like it too much or at all for that matter but it just goes to show that time flies! I would rather his first "cool" ride at Disney be splash mountain but you have to be 40 inches for that one. I can't wait to be able to take my little chunker on the big kid rides!! That is if mommy is allowed =]

Aiden at 14 months

My son is quite the comedian these days. There isn't a day that goes by with out me and Cody nearly peeing our pants because of him! I absolutely adore my son! So we were late for his 1 year check up and did it at 14 months. He is 31 inches tall and 24 pounds. He has 14 teeth and counting! The doc said that he likes the way he is growing and that he is growing nicely and he is at the 75 percentile. So we are hoping he keeps his growing streak and is taller than both of us! He can say Momma, Dada, my ball(which sounds like by bawll) and dog. He loves to watch older kids play and run around and doesn't care too much about babies. He is very independent and thinks he is all grown up! Now that he is older we took a trip to Disneyland and he was actually reacting to rides this time! It is so fun to watch him grow and learn so many new things.
I cant imagine my life without my little chunker!!

My Uncle's Suprise Birthday Party

So Aiden is finally 1 year old! It feels like it took no time at all! This past weekend was fun and very eventful! My uncle had a surprise birthday party on Saturday and here are a few pictures from that!

Aiden's First Haircut/ Father's Day Present

So Aiden got his very first haircut the other day. He now looks like a little boy...he's not my baby anymore! He is getting so big i cant believe it! Here are some pics and a video. He wasnt freaked out while Cody was buzzing his hair...he actually liked it! We used a size 8, which to me it still looks really short. His hair looks like daddy's now.

This year i thought since it was Cody's first real father's day then i should get him something nice and huge! I didnt take the huge part literally until i saw what i wanted for him. I came home and asked him if he wanted his fathers day present early or on fathers day because this thing was pretty big! He ofcourse said early and that spared me the agony of trying to find a place to put this so he couldnt find it. Here is the present.

An Update on the Garlic Plant

So my garlic plant did die but it died too early!! It was at the beginning of this month when i dug it up and found these little treasures!

It was not my fault my little plant died early. The gardeners thought it was a weed and buzz cut it TWICE!!! So i dug up miniature little garlics. They are so cute! I gave them to my mom so she can plant them in her new herb garden she has.
